Mine too. I was in one for about the same time and now I need another one since I refuse the follow-up surgery. I don't really care anymore and having spent over a year in casts and crutches, I'm fine with it. It's almost become a way of life...

Mine was just like hers, except that it was fiberglass, and I had it three months with underarm crutches. My toes were always uncovered.

Nice toes. I wish that we could see more. This series is nice because it shows her in everyday situations and not just walking on her crutches. A cast like hers is not easy, especially if she cannot reach down to cover her casted toes with a sock.
