He mentions Neil Bush... he was the son of vice president G.H.W Bush at the time Reagan was shot (1981) who planned to have dinner at that time with the brother of the shooter (John Hinckley jr.). Turns out Hinckley sr. was a friend and financial backer of G.H.W Bush during his run against Reagan for Republican nomination.
Hmm...
I don't know how Bush was picked as Reagan's vice pres but if he had died, Bush snr would have been president.

Another oddity is that the Carlyle Group does the security for the facility we call "Area 51". Since that's technically a military base this is against the law. The reason for this is that you cannot question or get FOIA documents on a private security firm. Same with Blackwater and other mercenary forces that are now building their own bases with the aid of the Bush administration.
