@robertdonkers la tecnica della Fleming è in effetti molto più vicina a quella della Calas rispetto alla Caballé, mi fa piacere che qualcuno veda questa grossa differenza! ma certo che qui Maria insegna (invano, purtroppo) a tutti su COME usare la propria voce, e NON ad esibire il proprio dono di natura, più o meno bello: tenere il suono sempre sulla colonna verticale del fiato, vibrare sempre a dovere, muovere pochissimo la bocca, non cambiare mai la posizione

Einer der besten Opernsängerin die der Welt gesehen und gehört hat. Ich denke, dass ich diese Stimme nur noch hören kann. Sehen live auf der Bühne wird in meiner Generation nicht mehr geben. Wissenschaftler sagen, alle 100 Jahre würde so ein Phänomen geben. Aber 100 Jahre werde ich nicht leben. Schade. Ich liebe Maria Callas.

I can't say hearing anything wrong here, okay....'59 she was still in great shape. A voice like her is a Gift in itself. She has a demonic middle register....it is, and then the chest voice....amazing. But what if a singer takes a risk, or not. It is always in service of the composer. And Callas did, always!
