It's still alive people. This is a short clip of the online play in Socom 1. I took this footage on 1-27-08 at 12:00 am.

If you want to play the best versions of Rat's Nest, and Abandoned (and not the fubar versions from Socom 2), then there are still people for you to play with on the original if you so choose to come back.

I actually reconnected with an old friend who moved away through Socom 1. This was quite a while ago obviously but we are still close today. I too would play all day and night, completely addicted to Socom. It was also my first online gaming experience. We had laughs, threw fits, argued with single turn mic hogging. I think my first MVP was Rats Nest. Love this game! fuck..it chokes me up just to reminisce....

@bouzer23 yep they are, the servers are still up for socom 1, 2, 3, C.A, but the best that i think is socom 1 and 2
