If this is the beta ROM there should be an Ice Key or code for reading SnS RAMBUS data in there somewhere. I really hope you are still looking.

@dandykong1 Actually, the text for the "Ice Key", along with other items displayed in the game totals, is not present in the Kiosk rom(Beta). This suggests that either it was added in later or was removed to reduce the cartridge size.

How did you get the test map to load in the Kiosk ROM? I thought that every scene digit but the normally playable ones took you to the intro screen.
Anyway, I figured out where the picture of the giraffes was intended to be used.
Active object loader value 0D in the kiosk, which corresponds to the room where Lanky fights Zingers in Jungle Japes, has this picture instead of the DK Island one seen in the final.
Here's the code (use it in the Army Dillo battle):
