Back again with the strings this time. There are probably some on here (or left off) that are too hard to tell if they were that synth or strings (Forget about Dre). Strings include Harp, Violin, etc. NO GUITARS tho, thats a whole other list.

Big KRIT- 2000 & Beyond
Bun B- Let em Know
Common - Stolen Moments pt. 3
DL incognito- claim to fame

Game- Put you on the game
Gza- animal planet
Ghostface killah- RAGU
Hi-tek - Money dont make u rich
Jeru the damaja- frustrated N*gga
Mark Ronson- Ooh wee
Pastor Troy - Yeah
Point Blank - TO 2 OT
Scarface- High Note
Jeezy- 3AM
Lil Jon - Throw It Up

  • "Ain't the Devil Happy" and "Gimme Some More" should be way higher. And no T.I. "What You Know" anywhere on here? Really?

  • killed it with #3...weak track IMO. 8/10 list but live nigga rap belongs in the top 5.

  • Best song with strings is Back That Azz Up

  • aND pitch black its all real

  • where is swizz beats where the cash at

  • Dudley Perkins - Falling

  • @sustao7 you are definately right, raekwons north star is one of the best beats ive heard to, better than all of them in the list probably..! its also the best outro beat for a classic album

  • Hate to be one of the people that point out what should or shouldnt be in the video but Raekwon - North Star is probably one of the best instrumentals ive ever heard

  • On Jedi Mind Tricks - Legacy of Blood Intro #55 at 0:47, the strings are from a song called Make it Easy For Yourself. Several artists recorded the song in the past, but I think this version might be from Jerry Butler from the 1960s or maybe Percy Faith.

On Ice Cube - Today Was A Good Day #49 at 1:32, music is by the Staple Singers singing Let's Do It Again 1975.

On Inspectah Deck - All I Want Is Mine #43 at 2:25, music is by Lamont Dozier singing The Picture Will Never Change 1974.

  • Great list but on the grind by Cassidy should be on here. Nothin but strait strings on that beat. Dope list though
