they don't suck, they did it on purpose, so everyone would buy the xperia arc. and 2.2 and 2.3 is already available at xda-developers including CM7

@andintheredcorner yeah sell it (X10). Get an HD2 or EVO - you get them cheap, they are super fast - but importantly they have the whole development community behind these devices. Head over to XDA-Developers, GIngerbread on my HD2 in a minute (any Gingerbread build for that matter,+WP7 , +meego, +ubuntu, +WM etc)

@andintheredcorner I just got the HTC EVO, but as soon as they release the next generation Google device (Nexus S, they're calling it) I'm hopping on board. Stock Android, for the win!

this was cute :D but shitty samsung support didn't even got the froyo out. it still has to come sometime this month, but we can't even dream about 2.3 on galaxy s sometimes soon...
