i recently bought this 2 UP beasts, #6915 and #6943, they have 2 motors, the factory mounting is parallel on the decoder's output, it's too fast for me, this engines rans 70 mph maximum, the HO scale one is more faster than an acela ! i measured them about 175 mph !!
here you can see the 6943 with the motors in serial coupling, half power on each (i also shut off the beacon), now it runs at about 95/100 mph, that's better but not enought slow for me, i will equip them with silver lenz decoder and make a good motor setting.

  • @STICKGUYMB i dont know, but i added weight in the fuel tank, its equiped for sound, but i havent, so i weighted it, i think i can pull more than 40 cars, which is already big in ho !

    @ bachmann : please put short gear ! it's not an acela !
