which is better, honestly.. the nikon d40 or this olympus 420?

Well the d40 has very good photo quality(almost better than the e420) but the nikon doesn't have live view, sensor cleaning or wireless flash. The e420 also has a 10 mp sensor instead of the 6 mp sensor you get with the nikon.

I'm using a 14-42 mm F: 3.5-5.6 Olympus digital kit lens.
