@illosinob I haven't seen "Blade Runner" or read "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" but I've read 1984 and agree that this song is about Orwell's totalitarian society, emphasized all the more by the song's title.

I think the song's real menin' is that sometimes, TV thinks taht the audience is dumb and thay keep them dumb when their dutie is to warn, inform and provide inputs to make people think and have an opinion about everything: politics, economy, etc instead of only show The Kardashians and Celeb Gossip

@TheMrstrokes 1984 is a book by George Orwell that warns of the government taking away all of our freedoms in the name of "protection".. spying on the people, etc... The Patriot Act is a perfect example of what Orwell was warning about... "People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both" -Benjamin Franklin.... incubus is acknowledging that we are being taken over by tyrants
