The background rhythm for the headlines make it sound hyped like a local news broadcast. Maybe I only notice because I'm listening on headphones... But at least they kept the same "The Mission" tune intact; they didn't turn it into weaksauce like the updated MTP theme.
I wonder when MSNBC is getting a glass graphics bump. I like it!

0:47 I really enjoy how they almost make the feather have a magical, alive feeling about itself, like it's looking around, then the rest follows. The music does feel a bit more subdued, but it works.

at 0:50 I wish the yellow peacock feather wiped around to reveal the entire NBC logo. Instead it all just slides in. Meh. Although I like the colors and the use of 3D shapes.
