Because of IT outsourcing, office bracket pools are growing exponentially. The NCAA added the Play-In Game to keep brackets difficult.

Ah, here we are, back on the horse. After the previous days confusion-based humor hackjob (which we admit is presently the popular genre), we serve up a nuanced joke about Math. That's right we still haven't wrapped up the math for this tourney, nor have we found peace with that nagging bracket polyp, the Play-In Game, so we're just gonna keep picking at it.
Like many of our videos, we had high aspirations for this one until we rediscovered the limitations of 35 seconds. We originally wanted to interview some IT manager talking about how he could hire 10 engineers in India for the price of 1 in America. Then we would draw the conclusion that brackets had multiplied by 10. Then we were going to show a normal guy who reluctantly outsourced his brackets to India because otherwise he just wouldn't keep up with the competition. As a side project, next year we're really going to outsource our brackets. Oh well, we still like the idea of having 3 months of sequential Play-In games to see who gets that last 16 seed.
By the way, check out that efficient reuse of brackets huh. An exponential graph is an exponential graph. But why, in the second graph, do they keep adding Play-In Games after 2040? I guess their just dicks.
