Really interesting aria. And very well sung!

The closing part is pure ecstasy:
"Love cannot falter, cannot desert,
Cannot falter, cannot desert, cannot desert,
Time cannot alter, cannot, cannot, cannot alter
A loving heart, an ever loving heart."
On that last word of Adriana Kucerova, 'heart', it is difficult to choke back tears. She's a magnificent interpreter.

wow... this is a really beautiful voice. Yes, the last note sounded strained at the very end... but it's such a beautiful instrument. My favorite interpretation of this is done by Laura Claycomb though... She's phenomenal...

I didn't know that Harnoncourt had conducted this opera. It must be interesting to hear the whole thing....

I didn't realize that opera is an English lesson... if she knew that she'd be judged for her English I'm sure she would have studied harder, after all she is true Eastern European, hard worker, smart and intelligent.

Great voice, warm tembr, very good technique, nice interpretation! Just need a bit more work on a english pronaunciation.

whoa she realy needs to work on her english, but the voice is fantastic.

Have you ever heard Deborah York's interpretation? It's quicker and she makes the ornaments actually sound like ornaments, and she is way more musically aware of what Stravinsky was looking for. I just think its too slow at the end because the whole thing is very slow and there should be a very noticeable change in emotion for the last 2 minutes.

I've just heard the interpretation of Dawn Upshaw and, well, it is almost unbearably beautiful. Of course this Harnoncourt version is different, but not less valid. I find the slow and lyrical tone of Kucerova more suitable to Anne Trulove's character. But Upshaw's singing is probably unmatchable in this role.

Too slow and she keeps slowing the orchestra down. The last note isn't very well sung, almost sounds like she cracks at the end.
anyone know how old she is?
