Ah "The Chicken" I caught him on 11/15/09 and he had JB Hunt and others on there and they were stacked up. I thought it was unusual.

Seems like lots of big cities are using trenches to keep trains off their streets and less crossings. Donner is such a nice place to view trains

I posted a video titled "Canadian Zephyr in Reno?" more than 3 weeks ago. That's the same train, but BEFORE the Canadian Pacific AC4400 was attached. I chased both trains on the same day.

LOL The second GE unit rocks!!!Why four locos?Overpowered for train of it's size...Do you know the reason?

I saw 8604 pick up that dirty GE unit, one of the designated Donner Helper C44AC's, at Sparks. Seems Z trains like the spare power to minimize chances of delays.
