Octavio Ocampo was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico on February 28, 1943

He studied at the "La Esmerlda" Fine Art Institute, Mexico City (1961-1965) and the San Francisco Art Institute (1972 - 1974).
Made set designs for more than 120 Mexican and American films and set designs for plays.
Octavio Ocampo is one of Mexico's most prolific artists.

Luvin' the Vibes by ARMIK as much as the paintings by Octavio Ocampo,....who is this? He's a mexican painter from Celaya town, just 1 hour to the northwest of here? I'm mexican and didn't know of this great artist,...well, i remember seein' his 'Don Quijote' painting but had no idea he made it,....thumbs up to ya locco1 and thankin' my buddy Stew for sharin'! = )

about 4 or 5 years ago i walked out of one of the hugest goodwills in FL purchising my matress for my new place in that ghetto.

a weird old woman aproached me and my roomate as where getting into my car in this MASSIVE parkinglott.

she handed us a painting that had the same man in it as 0:55. she insisted and said that we "needed it".

sat in my trashed house on the wall throught tons of partys, and finaly shur enough one day some drunk mofo noticed there where things in the old mans face!
