I agree with the sentiment but "little people" is actually the preferred term given to dwarfs and midgets, as those terms are deemed derogatory. It's their word for themselves.

Yes, but it's the same principle as if they were black or gay people and he kept referring to them as such - I think SciFiAssasin was objecting to that, not the use of the term.

This is scienceploitation TV - seeks to justify representation of people as funny freaks, and cruelty to an animal, as some sort of valuable experiment.

And anyway, what about little elephants! That'd be so CUTE! (And of course I need to know how their performance would relate to the umpas and dumbo here re plane-pulling.)
