This is the demonstration of a world's lowest cost brain computer interface (BCI), developed by three undergraduate students of FAST-National University, Peshawar, Pakistan.
It costs US$12 only.
With this BCI, one can type text messages into the computer with his/her thoughts. After typing the text message, one can send SMS to anyone with thoughts. Their is no any physical movement involved.
The purpose of this is BCI is to facilitate the physically disabled people who can't move and talk but are mentally active.
The reason this BCI is very cheap is that all of the hardware and software involved is homemade.
Where can we find out more information about this?
