I put in LEDs in the tail lamps. Had to get an electronic flasher vs the thermal flasher to get the flash rate to remain normal. Usually LEDs aren't very bright but these are a total of 576 surface mount design LEDs between both tail lamps.
Notice the Instant on and off. Seen here is the car with the tail lamps on, and flashing (to see the dual intensities).
why do yours look so much better than mine? what kind of leds did you get? where?

@adamlee333 these are 96-LED red lamps. What are yours? I got them on the bay.

@mtflight ..i knew i shouldv'e gone for that design bulb.i picked mine up from my local auto parts zone (20 bucks a pair)...gottem home, installed and they shine directly out from the bulb.... you can see the 3 bulbs way too easily..yours are FAR better...once my wallet recovers, i'll get those... btw are or were all these cars yours? I noticed a red eldorado with a woodgrain shifter.how did you do that? and is the digital speed readout factory for that year?

@adamlee333 Hey. What digital speed readout? If you're referring to the Eldo it's a hidden option in the Instrument Panel Cluster override menu. You get it the same way you get coolant temperature readout.
Yes I've had all three. The wood shifter is from a Buick LaCrosse. I took it out and still have it. I also happen to have 6 120 SMD LEDs. message me and maybe we can make a deal on both as I won't be needing them.

@mtflight how do I find that override menu? I didn't know I could get a digital speed reading on there.

@GayHDman what year and model do you have? It is one of the IP override features. I think this may be possible in the 96-02 Eldo analog IP as well as the 96-97 STS and 96-99 Deville with the analog panel
