Why, if it isn't Ron "I'm on Medicare" Paul.

You know nothing about the man. He's not on Medicare. He in fact refused the House pension plan as well.

Re # 15: Paul sounds like he's in favour of homeopathy. As Paul's medical background is MD, not ND, I was really surprised to here that. Homeopaths believe that the more diluted a substance is, the better it will work. This runs against laws of physics - and common sense. I'm hoping that the argument was more about the government closing down competition and choice, vs Paul supporting such quackery. In any case, his fight for individual rights at sound money still stands strong.

I had the exact same thoughts. I was kind of surprised to hear him say that. While i'm completely against homeopathy, I dont think it's my right to stop someone else from practicing it.

sure, provided you have already covered the basics: Food, shelter, clothing, security----today we call that working for a living...which is apparently best done around areas organized around that purposes (we call them Cities)....and such organization usually requires "citizen representatives" in order to get anything done (today we call them Politicians)...thus a Governing Body emerges (out of the blue or Wild Wild West)....so, have that Anarchy in your mind.

States operate through forcing other people to appeal to their interest.

The state did not emerge from the Wild West. It invaded and the people let it happen with little care in the world.

Well, then people just aren't fit for anarchy....we all knew that already, when are you "hold-outs" finally gonna "dial-in" and put your energies to more useful things. People in general are too stupid (98% of population)....there, bummer, eh

Why were they doing great in the western areas before the state took over?
