  • Where is the sound? or was there no sound?

  • Superb film, not too much has changed in 70-80 years,We come to looe every year from Leeds..only a 8 hour trip(each way) :(...just love the place and surrounding area.

  • Loved this film. Well done for uploading it.

  • amazing that we have such footage from so long ago. Thanks for uploading it.

  • I used to live in Torbay, and I loved to visit this area on a day off. Just a nice distance from home for a day out.

  • What is humbling about this is that the people of that era were thinking the great World War was over and another war of such a scale would never happen again.

  • The dance looked like the Helston Floral(or Furry) dance, especially as there was a band. Very atmospheric film.

  • I painted Polpero in oils, it's beautiful quaintness will never die :)

  • I was in Looe and Polpero this summer 2006, so good to see nothing has really changed and lets hope it never does, Cornwall is so pretty and it sould be left that way too.
