Progear was released as a Capcom System II (CPS-2) arcade board and is significant in several ways. Made by the legendary Japanese video game company Cave(including Joker Jun), this is one of the last true 2-D horizontal scrolling shooters...no polygons here, just beautiful hand drawn graphics, mesmerizing bullet patterns and jewel harvesting insanity! If you're a shooter fan, you simply can't miss a single second of this bullet-hell gameplay. (Special Note: The video showcased here is not me playing, but rather a Japanese shooter master whose name I do not know to give credit, otherwise I would for this masterful display of skill and jewel harvesting)
