We take out the new blade scout cx rc helicopter and do a little flying tutorial to try and give a good overview of what this remote controlled heli is capable of.

This is a good first remote controlled helicopter for people looking to get into the hobby and still be able to purchase replacement parts at their local hobby stores

  • Hi Brandon, what would you recommend for a low cost ready to fly beginner heli for outdoor use?

  • @richandiben check out the sr120. Not really a beginner but the best one for outdoor. Unfortunately outdoor and beginner usually can't be used in the same sentence.

  • i have owned an mcx and just got my kid a scout for xmas i cant seem to trim the scout it wants some side to side trim as it moves to the left the front to rear trim is good and it is not spinning but it moves to the left when hovering any thoughts on this ?

  • @scomyo3 Yes adjust the "fixed" rod that comes off the swashplate. It's the one that doesn't move. Counterclockwise twist to trim to the right. Opposite for left.

  • Can you do a video about the differences of the Msr and Msr X

  • @SpeedBird2159 we talk about it in the unboxing video

  • Nice!!!

  • @Danboarding thanks for the kind words

  • @SpeedBird2159 Well you basically answered your own question hehe, with it not having a flybar you must correct the pitch yourself.

  • Thanks for taking the time to make these tutorials, Brandon! Definitely a thumbs up! I'll definitely will re-watch this and your other tutorials once I get my own Heli!
