Ah well don't get me wrong mate. I'd love the Audi A3 as well, I'm not badmouthing your car at all.

It's just that when I have to choose between the cars with the specs that I said, I'd choose the Skoda in this case.

I don't condemn badge-snobbery as you accurately put it, but I'm just not very sensitive to it.

Btw the 2011 Skoda Superb is the ONLY Skoda that I like. Older Superbs and/or other models I all dislike completely, but the Superb is amazingly good imho.

Fair enough, although I think you are in the minority. I don't think anyone in their right mind thinks the Skoda Superb Elegance looks better than the Audi A3, but perhaps I am incorrect. Premium cars do cost a premium because of badge-snobbery, I absolutely understand that, but I still couldn't resist the lure of the fine-looking Audi. (Admittedly, mine was five years old when I bought it last year - I'm not made of money!)

Yes. I would rather drive a 2011 Skoda Superb 3.2 V6 than an 2011 Audi A3 2.0TFSI.

Absolutely. The Skoda looks great, performs great, is luxurious and wellmade.

I don't care for branding or status (although I do happen to like a lot of 'status burdened' cars) so I think about how pretty a car is. I think the 2011 Skoda Superb Elegance looks better than the A3. It might be because it's been around for so long, but still.

I know they're made by the same company and all that shit, but frankly, I drive an Audi A3, and it's pretty clear that if you can afford it, that is a better car than anything Skoda come up with, yes, including the Octavia.

Can anyone seriously tell me they'd rather be driving a Skoda than an Audi?
