Dragoness Dance

This is just an experiment with my Krotsgier character. I accualy did the animation while doing laundry at a laundry mat in Reno. Nothing serious. Yes, it's based on those other anime dance videos I saw. Then back at home I fooled around with the compositing to see what I can do with the software at home. The only negative on the ani was that the tail dosnt loop right. It's rig makes it move automatically so it's hard to control. The soundtrack, I recorded myself by randomly recording drum beats and guitar nose, cut, loop, and paste them back together.

I...what....ah.... wow...wow... a people wholly incapable and desensitized as to the overtly sexual dysfunction and innuendo. I dont have a problem with someones sexuality, but I believe sexual dysfunctions are detrimental to one's health whatever their form. If you dont understand what I'm trying to say just step back, and carefully analyze this body of work critically and you'll begin to see that there is something seriously not healthy about it. Good art is that what makes people react and think, Whenever it's positive or negative, Holy or demonic, sane or insane. It's not about, hey, check out my technical and artistic skills. Plus, I find experimentation in the realms of what is beyond normal a lot more interesting then the same old stuff that thousands of other artists are doing. Besides, this took only a days worth of work (a mix of random stuff I put together), which is insanely short for CGI work.

i See a Heall of alot of things rong with this compostiion of a female at all. let alone a dragon. i learned my dragon drawing skills from NeonDragon. and my humnan drawing skills on my own. and females should never have that skinny of a waist. the musle tissue of the legs should seem to rap around her stomic. and her rib cage should be longer but 2 rib bones.

Obviously you must not have seen other stylistic approaches to the female form. Though you have the right to your own opinions and tastes, to say that K's style is "wrong" is kind of bullshit. Wrong to what? What rules does she have to conform too? And don't try to convince this punk rocker to what "rules" I should follow when I do my art. I make what I like and that's all that counts.

This was a suit, right? I think this is a person wearing a suit and putting some animated stuff around it? The waist-line, if that was adjusted, is rather thin (however, if its a computer animation adjustment, it's just a choice really). If that's how a person looks in a suit, it looks unhealthy. The mask is creepy (reminding of D. Darko). I have no problem with people's art, or wanting to dress like dragons, but this is a scary piece of animation: music/aesthetic (maybe what you wanted).

Very weird. Plus, I do have say that the waist is too skinny. And that does a toll on the body. But then again, this is not bound to reality so I guess it's okay. But in reality for a bipedal creature to stand strong, it needs a firm base at the waist. It would look like she would have back aches all the time, and eventually die. Sorry. Unless you add to her fiction that she has REALLY strong bones, then its all GOOD :-D

Err.. this is creepy..

I think the dragon was well animated, and shows skill, though I think the body could look like it was... more realistic then it did. Looked unhealthy, almost frail

Besides, there is alot of sexual hints, that just drags the work down for me.

I like the little insane ones where the the music is hyper, or mixed and the chibi characgters dance like little poeple who are on some sort of super energy burst. Or the ones dancing in sync with each other.

This is awesome. It isn't much, but for a day's worth of work, it's a definite testament to your skill. And it's amazing and quite honestly refreshing to see an artist that's mature about ridiculous and unfair criticism. I can't wait to see a more full project from you than just test animations, and keep up the fantastic work.
