My husband went to school for photography, though God has brought him into a different profession since then in order to pay the bills. I have been praying for a way that God can use the gift God has given him. We have a friend that is pregnant with a baby girl that doctors have given a 0% chance of life. I'm told that NILMDTS had no volunteers in this area but paid a local photographer for her. So, I must dry my tears and my husband and I will be in prayer. This is such a neat ministry.

@Galahadthecat I know your post is old, but as someone who has suffered loss, I don't believe other parents would be offended if you cry. Sometimes its healing to see that others feel and share your pain. So if you shed a few tears, that is okay. Honestly, it would be more disturbing if you could do your job without feeling hurt. Thank you for helping families in need. Its an amazing thing you and other NILMDTS photographers do. God bless you all.

Thank you for all you do. My husband and I lost seven pregnancies before having our daughter. All were lost early, most before our first ultrasound, but knowing how hard loss is, especially that of a child, one day I hope to help with NILMDTS' mission. Wonderful work.

I know one photographer who has been accepted, and I deeply wish something like this had been available when my daughter, Adeline Winter Leone, was lost to me. She'd be 20 this Christmas, and this brought back so much.
I am a professional newborn photographer. A few months ago God began speaking to my heart about bereavement portraiture. I found NILMDTS while searching the internet for newborn portrait ideas. My application with NILMDTS was just approved yesterday. I now begin the process of training for one of the most difficult, but most rewarding jobs of my life. Will I be able to do this? How will I keep from crying behind my camera? Only time will tell. Please pray as I begin this new chapter in my life.
