John Bonham Groove 4 (by DZ)

Here is something I'm sure you'll all know. This groove drives hard but is also gracefull. Watch the ghost notes on the snare and kick, really adds to the feel of the beat. No port and two mics on kick again.

What made you choose Sound Formulas over 2002s?

When I went to my local music shop looking for an 18" crash, I set up a couple to try out including a 2002 and I found the SF to sound better (to my ears) than the others. A very dynamic cymbal line. Still love it to this day and it's going on 21 years old :)

GD: what is that crash you use-the one with the fingermarks around the edge? In thius vid it is the one on your left. (I might have asked you this before..) It looks to be lighter like a 602 or a B12 Sig/SF?

That's an 18" Sound Formula Full Crash. Bought it around '89.
