Good Shot!! And you're right about the better to be short than long. The golf pro at the course I play at fixed my backswing because I was going to long a backswing and you then have to hinge your wrists to get the club to come and sweep the ball off the ground not come over the top and make a huge divot.

your swings a little short on your backswing but hey it looks like you hit it straight so whatever works... but with a little longer backswing youll add some distance... g10's are awsome clubs i have a g10 driver.. the irons are great CAVITY BACK clubs but if your looking for even better performance try some ping blades if you can hit them (they're not the easiest to hit.. and thats an understatement) the blades will add distance and acuracy to your game

Very nice, you have a pretty similar swing to me before it gets to the top, what changes have you made?

@AdamFXX I've tried to make too many changes and eventually messed up my swing completely. I had to "quit" golf last year it was so bad. I am trying to rebuild my swing from the ground up this year. Really focusing on powering the swing with the body, flat left wrist at impact, no scooping.....

I should really post up another video. Thanks though. I've been taking lessons for about 1 year and we have fixed all of my backswing issues. Now for the downswing! lol

Thanks for the comments. I'm working with a pro right now to get my backswing on plane. I am severely under plane and that is making me extremely inconsistent. I am working on getting my wrists involved much earlier, keeping the club head on plane from the get-go. I am in a much better position at the top and this makes it much easier to attack from the inside.

grantcowan, We'll see when I finally get out to an open range in a couple weeks. I really feel like my swing is different all of a sudden this winter. Last year, though, I would pull out 5 iron on anything around the 180-190 marker? Nothing spectacular. =( Though I do remember hitting 4i onto a green 210yds away. So, go figure.
