Dust Devil at Dome Rock

An amazing dust devil we had the luck of witnessing on Dome Rock in the Southern Sequoia area of California in August of 2005. Towards the end of the video you can here me getting pegged by flying gravel.

WOW!!! What a dust devil!!! That vortex is probably spinning at 4000 rpm!!! I call a high-energy dustdevil like that a turbo devil!!!

Odd looking domed rock.  Maybe the shape of that rock generates those dust devils.
