i have been looking for this movie for like 5 years now or probably even longer,

i was typing in the final string or the last string , then i typed in best foreign films china and found it in the list as life on a string, i want to find the scene where he sings on a hill while they are fighting, thats the best song ever!

I remember being dragged to see this film against my better judgement by my Dad when I was like 17. I left the cinema a changed person. Immense movie and this is its finest scene. Beautiful.

Thanks for putting up this beautiful song - one of the most passionate I've ever heard along with Dido's Lament. I saw "Life on a String" a few times when it was on video, it's one of my all time favourite films for a combination of stunning photography and music with poignant story.

Does anyone know where to get a copy of this film online? Been searching for it for years on DVD playable in UK (PAL format, Region 0 or 2). Thanks!
