I dont get how even fans of Buffett miss the meaning of the song.

You DON'T want to go to Margaritaville guys... the whole point of the song is that if you spend everyday getting wasted to the point where you start waking up with tattoos you dont remembering getting and you're drunk constantly just to get through the day it's STOPPED being fun and a good time. Now you have a problem and you're not sure who's fault it is, "But I know it's my own damn fault."
