What are those structures made of sticks behind them? Are they supposed to be dwarf tents or something?

  • They are actually single man survival shelters. One had been built by people on a bushcraft survival day so we used it and made a half built one too.

Notice that this video is made by FANS and doesnt have any professional actors. I think this is very good!

  • >>no Boromir was no a Dunedain

but he did have black hair in the books

Yes, he was. "Dunedain" means "Men of the West." The people of Gondor were descended from the faithful Numenoreans who escaped the Fall of Numenor--as were those who lived in Arnor. Elendil's son's were Isildur (ruled in Arnor) and Anarion (ruled in Gondor). Aragorn's lineage eventually brought the two lines back together, which is cool.

  • @nicotineplz1 Men in Breeland and Gondor spoke Westron, which is most like our English

  • Maybe one day we can see a lotr fan film that only uses tolken languages like quenya, sindarin, dwarvish... (no english)

  • thumbs up.................so very disappointed that they are not making that bridge

film to tie The Hobbit and LOTR together, but now that Jackson is in charge

no way will it ever happen

  • Just watched the movie. Very well done. Hope kate gets to do some fantasy movie on a big scale.

  • Just saw the finished movie and was blown away how good it was. Who ever did it, you guys rock!

  • my bff is in it

  • Nice movie, a bit more lively than the Hunt for Gollum.^^

The acting I can live with, after all it a fanmade movie. Although the girl, Elgarain, acts really good.=)

But the weird mixture of clothing is a mystery to me.

Orchs running around with bits of orange cloth in their armour, Arathorn in, what looked like an almost modern skin jacket, (that actually made me pause the movie for a better look) you can see it not handsewn, and what's with the fakeskin west Gilraen is wearing?;P

  • Very impressive. First fan-made film I have ever enjoyed... I may even donate which is very rare for me to donate to a project like this.

I wonder what the official stance on torrenting the movie would be? I would like to know what Konami's claim is.

  • Who the hell are Konami? Saw that the movie had been pulled. Are they just another corporate bunch of greedy bastards...? I make films and am aware that with careful planning and imagination you can achieve loads at a fraction of what most film companies charge. Konami, are you the latter? My Dixons hand held £229 mini DV camera earned me £20,000 + in commissions. Brilliant that you achieved this within your budget. Fuck off Konami, you should be proud if anything.
