I like both too. Since I started listening to Trance more recently, I do lean more to today's stuff, especially cuz I like techno, so I like the more techy, progressive stuff, but this stuff is cool too.

you prefer this kind of trance or the current one? trance has evolved, but I like both kinds of productions! both have their strenghs (dunno if it's written like that).
IMO, 2 of the main differences are the preceived volume on tracks, and their deepness (or use of reverb)
