  • Britain has the least energy efficient housing stock in Europe (about a third of homes -9 million- has no insulation!). Sweden , for example uses less energy per capita, despite its colder climate.

  • Winter is here and we need to ensure that our houses are properly insulated. This video is pretty informative.

  • This was an enlightening insulation check walk. We often tend to neglect to insulate around split bats and this video was an eye-opener.

  • Those pipes would freeze in Vancouver. You would have to put iso board behind it. In Alberta you couldn't put water lines in an exterior space
