After reading/watching/hearing so much about 2012, I will be very dissapointed if nothing happens or start happening. Not that I'm saying it's all a lie, fabrication or something like that, but...

@gazpipe916 I'm not attracted to power just to read from every angle, Christianity and the esoteric philosophies are one in the same, both belief systems with theories ideas and concepts....i think the essense of life is neither.

@GazMysticism people are attracted to the power. In Christianity, all christians are endowed with one or more spiritual gifts, but usually the 'power gifts" like raising the dead are bestowed at will by God and not forced through incantation or spells or conjuring.

@Goodfightlads It explains some incredible concepts especially about the nature of consciousness an reality. i just find it really intresting to read. i like the idea of investigating for yourself rather than have someone tell you what to believe

Its conflicting as i find the Esoteric teaching so intresting but i don't like the idea of Global enslavement.....im yet to read that's the idea behind Alice baileys or Helena Blavatsky's books

Blavatsky's right. The petty and bloodthirsty Yahweh of Old testament is really evil. And the snake in garden (who wasn't a devil, that's only a later fanfiction) looks like a sympathic fellow who actually sent us on the long path of cultural and technical development. What's wrong with Lucifer or Light-bringer? He's called evil, thanks to poets like John Milton. Btw, nothing will happen in 2012, it's only related to some extremely slow astronomical cycles.
