yes...this is what i do to preserve my twists too..or i 'wrap' my hair like i do my twists.. misting your hair in the shower helps too to keep it moisturized w/o applyin product too much

@watchfuleye2008 I do it differently now since my hair has grown out. I just do what I do in the stretch my curl video. I just do 2 or 4 braids and pin it but this worked great when my hair was at this length. Natural hair is an ever changing process.
