It doesnt work like that. These types of systems have a two stage motor. The initial launch thrusts it out in front of the unit, then a drive motor kicks in for the flight. From the sound and look of it, the 1st stage blew out and you hear the "Woosh" start about 2 seconds after they run, sounds like the drive motor kicked in.
