@mundo646 its kinda awesome to know im not the only one that understands this storyline, its sorta confusing at parts but if u pay attention at the text in the game u get it, late but u do, this is the best videogame ever made. No story can compare to this. Thumbs up if u want a remake!

I don't have any of the systems to play the Final Fantasy VII games, but my brother got Crisis Core for his PSP for me, and I was able to play that, and I've watched Advent Children, Advent Children Complete and Last Order. Everytime somebody even mentions Zack, or when he shows up, I get the urge to cry because I remember his death.

@fallenangel2100 I think the idea was that Cloud was delusional throughout the game and other stories. He was so messed up from the experiments that he couldn't separate his identity and experiences from Zack's. I don't think he intentionally lied but rather internalized ideas and experiences which subsequently crafted a new and stronger identity. The memory lapse was temporary but his new self image made him a badass like Zack. That is how he owned Sephiroth in FF VII standard and the AC movie.

@fallenangel2100 Yes exactly. Zach meant, carry on my ways. So Cloud did. But because of the sickness, and general retardism of cloud at that point in time, he somehow forgot he was a lowly NOOB. That can go deeper, we know Cloud is emotional, he probably didn't WANT to believe he was a Nub. So he told people he worked for ShinRa. As Soldier. He didn't want to fail himself, nor his town of Nibelheim. So he lied, fell for his own lies (because of the sickness).
