Probably because they realized that they had to adapt and experiment with new sounds in order to remain relevant to the current music scene,and that's why they had the success and longevity that they did.If they simply set about appeasing narrow minded old fucks like you,they would have been long forgotten rather than being recognized for being one of the greatest and most successful acts in recent history.

THIS is the first recording I can remember listening to, by the Bee Gees. The year was 1968 and this song was coming thru my '57 Chevy's AM radio, loud & clear. Memories of a lifetime ago..............
