Nitrous .vs Plastic PI intake runners.
Not sure what exactly happend. May have been the intake finally had enough. I found alot of fractures once I got the intake off along with 4 holes in the runners.

Final Score: Nitrous 1 Intake O

  • You may want to check the valve guides. It pushed 2 of mine out then busted into pieces then fell into combustion chamber and did a number on the pistons and valve seats and cylinder head.

I haven't raced it since we pulled motor. We bought an Aluminator block and building off of it.

  • I know it's old but I gotta ask is a stock 4.6L SOHC pretty beefy?

I wanted to use one in my swap but just up the C/R a little, port n polish and some better rods.

Would it be pretty hefty, say 5-10psi eventually?

  • Clearly somethin went wrong. The car seems to run great. Watch some other vids of the car. Its runnin mid 11s. You dont see a stock motor 2v runnin 11s every day

  • just from experience that car didnt look like it was running well on that 150 shot. You need a tune badly

  • @Mustangmancp he let off ;)

  • great lookin stang. love the cobra bumper and cowl hood looks sinister! and no spoiler is just icing on the cake! just the way i like them to look.

  • @Mustangmancp check his break lights and his trap speed. He let off long before the line

  • 13.1?? Please tell me your 60ft was shit?

  • I just blew mine up yesterday, One to many nitrous runs. Blew the back and front runners out of it . Time for good ol aluminum.

  • Time to get the HPS Hardball'r intake manifold. Supposedly can withstand nitrous backfires.
