  • Everything a classical guitarist won't do.

    good looks though :)

  • @markusboyd3 good thing i'm not a classical guitarist then! thanks 4 stopping by!

  • Powerful performance!

  • @RyuBlade1980 Thanks, i ment it that way

    Happy new year!

  • @crudosoy1 Happy new year, too! Yes, I didn't mean that negatively! Of course you meant it, because you can't have such a powerful performance by accident. For me it really sounds as if you had a clear imagination of the piece that you tried and succeeded to show us. That's just great. :-)

  • @RyuBlade1980 haha i never assumed u meant it negatively! Thanks a lot!

  • So he doesn't have classical guitar posture - even a fool can get that.

So he doesn't use a footstool, and plays sitting on the toilet! (LOL!) - so what.

Ultimately the MUSIC is what matters - and the music here is as bloody good as you're ever likely to listen of this piece.

I'm a trained classical guitarist by the way, and play this exact piece and the 5 movements that follow, and a couple other Lute Suites in their entirety, and have heard Fernandez, Barrueco, Bream, and Williams play this

  • The presto part is especially phenomenal, great job... Lol, on the first part (the slower part) you play like I do when I used to play this piece - without much regard to keeping to the time as it is written....but it shows you have excellent fingering on the fugue-like part.

Why did you capo? So you're playing in F#m?

  • Thanks a lot for posting! I like the LS Em very much and this piece isn't easy to play! You play it very well. Congrats, thumbs up and best regards Karlheinz

  • Qué buena música, y qué guapo intérprete también! =P

  • Oops spoke too soon, my bad sorry. I said what I said, because your position was lazy and you are not supposed to use a capo. But I enjoyed it, I played that piece in a concert 3 years ago, damn fine piece of music it is! Bach is Magnificat, wait that's another fine piece!
