U2 - Get On Your Boots [E°89 360° Tour 2010 Intro Mix]

Since YouTube blocked the original creation for this idea in some countries, I decided to give it another go, using footage from the multicam Gothenburg DVD bootleg put together by YouToo. The recent fuss about excluding Breathe as the opening track of the upcoming official U2360° DVD from Pasadena also motivated me to take some time and redo my take on an alternate opening sequence for the shows later this year.

Now I also got my hands on the splendid full version of Get On Your Boots as remixed by Fish Out Of Water (it's avaliable on the new release Artificial Horizon) so that gave me another reason to redo it properly? Anyway, my initial thought was to let this take place in a darker setting but I didn't have the material to do it as the previous version was mostly based on the Pasadena show, which was blocked by Universal Music Group. Instead I used the some amateur and proshot footage from Gothenburg as the basis for my newest video. I could upload the whole audio I edited together for this video if anyone wants to hear the full thing . I ran out of proshot material and just decided that it would have to do for now, you get the idea, right?
