what I have learned from this campaign is that we need to stop vilifying people who make racist comments & simply call them on it. challenge & debate them, but you can't write them off (unless, of course, they are dangerous extremists). i've seen some progressive minds make some racially ignorant statements. I am interested to see how he & obama work together during this election & beyond. i think that is what america has to be about in order to work.
