I never thought my parents would turn against me. The power of this movie is its soundtrack and images. Nightmarish stuff. Genius of imagery. Who the heck noticed the zippers on the costumes? The sound and image of this flick is genius.

Does Lucas say the book war of the worlds takes place in world war one?? Strange, since the book was written like 25 year before that war..

Yes he did say during WW1.
I think he means the 19rg century.
