I'm not a strong supporter of Hicks and his personal agenda, however I believe that Guantanamo Bay and it's torture facility's that the US hold in country's like Syria and Egypt is absolutely abhorrent.
With that being said, I look at our country now and the pathetic attempt at handling situations like the "Boat People" aka Refugees, and a small part of me wishes that the Pacific Solution that Howard implemented is sorely missed and the current government should be ashamed at the very least.
