2-27-2010 Designed and built by Ralph Bolt, volunteer at Ice Alaska during the week of 2-27-2010.

Dan Gullickson of Fairbanks ,and the Choral Director at Fairbanks Lutheran Church, assisted in the tuning of the ice bars. It is his debut as a percussionist and the instrument's debut as well. The instrument has a two octave range. Ice was cut from ice sculpture scraps and was originally harvested from Andy O'Grady pond on the site of Ice Alaska.
