Episode 7: All's Quiet. Now that everything had stabilized and is supporting fish without any ammonia spikes I can relax a bit. I am still keeping up on the water changes every 1-2 weeks because the tank need to mature a bit but even at 2 weeks I have no ammonia buildup so its doing really well. Next weekend I will look to add a few more fish and move the Dwarf Hygro to the middle and start cutting it down so it grows bushy. I'll be adding a sword to the area it currently occupies until the anubias and fern can take over.

  • Thanks, right now i have 7 zebra danios, 7 cory cats (4 emerald and 3 albino), 2 pearl gourami, 4 boesemani rainbowfish, 3 oto cats and an apple snail (golden var.) I dont have any plans to add anymore stock but I will eventually phase out the danios for a school of serpae tetras or add a few more rainbows.
