  • I will say that for the most part, the three major religions, Islam , Christianity and Judaism, try to convert people. Why else would Christian missionaries have been sent to African countries? As for the inferiority, not true. Stoning is rarely practiced, and the legal age for marriage in my country in 17.

  • Don't get me wrong...I disapprove of ALL religions - not just Islam. Any dogmatic device that can incite people to do crazy and deadly things on a large scale (including Christianity) is unacceptable and will, if left unchecked, eventually destroy us all.

  • There is an entire chapter in the Quran dedicated to women. In it are clearly described women's rights - in marriage, inheritance, etc. Women should not be forced into marriage, that's what the Quran says, and whoever does so is sadly misguided.

In Sharia law, the conditions regarding witnesses are extremely strict. If observed accurately, it would be difficult to convict people.

I'm not bashing you. I understand why you're apprehensive, but you should look these things up, from the Quran.

  • You are right, of course, the Koran says much about women's rights. Except those rights are not there to ensure that women are treated as men's equals, but to ensure that women remain subservient to men. For example you mention inheritance - according to the Koran a woman's inheritance is only half as much as a man's inheritance. (see Koran 4:12 ). This demonstrates to me that women are clearly seen to be inferior or less important than men.

  • Very good video (just as your first): full rate *****.

Wrote about the same Islamic propagandists and Rania: Pt.4 of my series (might want to check it out).

  • what u r saying is plain wrong, muslim women r not inferior to men, there are many well acomplished female doctors ,lawyers, ceo executives all over the arab world, you have no right to judge the status of women in the arab world till u meet one ,come to the arabian gulf and see how great we r, we r never forced to marry at 14 !we go to the best schools and collages and its up to us to decide weather we want to mararry or not!our men r not monsters, they respect and protect us, get ur facts right

  • well, you have a point. I think There is a difference between a law and having the government's acceptance. If religion becomes the law, then seperation has failed because all people are obliged to it with religion as the basis of the law. To deem it acceptable only means that the government will deem it allowable for some people to marry in their cultural/religious fashion. The current system of marraige is already influenced by the christian tradition, so its kind of redundant.

  • No, my friend, freedom of religion means being free to worship whatever god or gods you want, it has nothing to do with laws and punishment. Determining what constitutes law is up to the democratically elected government, and last time I checked there was separation of religion and government in Canada, and that is worth protecting.

  • But typically men support the family, support their wives. Therefore they need to be more financially stable.

  • I'm sorry you feel that way, I however don't understand how I managed to do that. I simply wrote down what I have read (in many places: the Koran, scholarly books, autobiographical books, news media, blogs to mention a few) about how Islam views and treats "blasphemers", adulterers, women and thieves and what a Muslim told me. I also mentioned that I think that these views are barbaric and repulsive. I never mentioned any race or ethnic group, so I don't know how I could've been racist.

  • I don't believe implement is the right word. I live in Canada, and as far as I know, they just wanted Sharia law to be deemed acceptable in canada (not the one and only law) so that muslims can practice it- not the whole society. Kind of like asking right of practice of religion.
