1st on YouTube: Shiny Barboach Egg Hatches via Masuda Method (Diamond#2) after 1025 eggs!

Wow I feel bad for complaining about having bad luck. I actually have pretty good luck. I was complaining about hatching 1020 Barboach eggs when the shiny appeared on the 1025th egg xD. I was complaining about how so many people seemed to be getting shinies around my birthday (December 4th). Well, I got my birthday weekend shiny ^_^. Last year shiny Dratini came on my birthday.

This was my secret hatch target on Diamond#2. This is my first shiny found on my second Diamond. Im so excited. I received the egg the day after my birthday! My 18th birthday was December 4th. While hatching for shiny Barboach, I usually filled 7 boxes with eggs and then saved and hatched them all when I wanted. I started hatching for shiny Barboach on October 17. It took almost two months of on and off hatching. I bred a Japanese Ditto (traded from my SoulSilver) with a Barboach hatched on my Diamond. I wasnt 100% sure the Masuda Method would work, but I went for it. And it worked ^_^.

Its kinda funny I filled 7 boxes with eggs and the shiny was the 5th of the 210 eggs o__O Overall it was the 1025th egg, like stated above. Who knows, maybe another shiny Barboach will hatch from one of the remaining 205 eggs? Its worth a shot.

I took a break from hatching from about July until October, only hatching a couple hundred eggs. I hatched a lot of Masuda eggs on my Pearl without any luck. Then, I decided to make Barboach my main target.

I m almost positive Im the first one to post a video of a legitly hatched shiny Barboach ^___^. Ive wanted this shiny for so long and finally have it! Also, I should mention that Abenzios shiny Barboach video made me want mine more.

One final note: It has a Naught nature; I still need to check the IVs. I do not have many rare candies on my second Diamond, unlike my Pearl. I save before using lots of rare candies and then level the Pokemon up to check its IVs.
