  • Before you claim this is a pile of "schnidt", take a look at the musicians they had backing them on the album. Sure... The vocals aren't the best but this was pretty groundbreaking stuff at the time. I feel sorry for you not being able to appreciate that.

  • the pictures of the horses are brilliant.

  • @cynthiacher I really do not understand what my uncle sees in them...He hates the Bangles and I think they're awesome, he sent me their LP which was like played once lol. Go figure.

  • @2ndPyleOfVinyl Yes, they are awful, aren't they? The GTOS had a lot more success at being groupies than being entertainers. As a singing group they barely lasted fifteen minutes. Several of them were drug addicts; that was one of the main reasons their they tanked so quickly. That and their utter lack of talent.

  • @cynthiacher I agree, my Uncle asked me to send him a copy of this album. You know, I am thankful this LP is rare. I would rather listen to Lawrence Welk or Barbara Streisand than this :)

  • @cynthiacher no one hand-cuffed you to this clip.run along to susan boyle and clay aitkin.shoo!

  • Read how Nicky Hopkins helped the girls put this song together as well as all the other songs recorded on this album, in a new book, Freak Out! My Life with Frank Zappa by Pauline Butcher and available on amazon.

  • Is this the only GTOs there ever was? I remember seeing an all-girl band that I thought was "The GTOs" in the late 60's, performing on the football field of Santa Monica College. They played their own instruments (no pun intended) and I seem to recall lots of covers of then-current top 40 stuff (Beatles, Stones) and who knows what else. Same-ee same?

  • Pure fun!

  • @rockconnoisseur76 What the hell was "groundbreaking" about this? They were a shitty novelty act. They had no talent at all. That is painfully obvious.

  • I just LOVE Pamela! She's so nice and kind! A really beautiful woman. I wish so much that I could be like her.
