Critics either are jealous because they did not think of the invention themselves (and never will produce anything useful), don't know what they are talking about (Gary Fong's Lightspheres are manufactured in the USA) or are ignorant about the subject ... in this case photography (probably take the poor photos Gary speaks about). If these devices are so bad then why do many professionals use them?

the collapsible is clear so ist there a big different between collapsible and universal, i dont know which i should buy the collapsible because it can be get small and it is not hard or the universal because it is cloud

Sounds like a bunch of hatters. Grow up and recognize that Fong has found a niche that works. Be inspired to create your own rather than attempting to tearing him down with cheap as your driver for alternatives. Lightsphere is brilliant!
